kind of high resolution dip meter, it adopts six independently actuated arm on
which micro-resistivity sensor equipped,which makes the well borehole coverage of
the buttons and accuracy improved dramatically ,it
provides many times more contrast between each pad than conventional four-arm
dip meter.This tool guarantee high definition imaging processing and
accurate interpretation of logging data due to improved density and quality on
acquired data.
Six-arm dip meter consists of
cartridge, power supply, housing, flask, thread ring, protecting cap, etc.
Power supply circuit frame locates at
outside of flask, with two power boards mounted on it.
The main circuit frame locates inside
flask, it can be pulled out from flask. The accelerator, magnetic sensor, A/D
converter and filter board are mounted on the main circuit frame.
Resistivity measurement circuit frame locates outside of flask, it has three
receiver boards and one transmitter circuit board.
All components of this tool made of non-magnetic materials except
protecting cap, we should keep it away from magnetic field during storage and
transportation and calibration check process.
